Focuses on incentivising IDPs in the NE registration in the URB to relocate and resettle in safe communities through provision of cash support in 4 tranches of N30,000.00 for Basic, N20,000.00 for Relocation, N100,000.00 for Resettlement and N50,000.00 Stabilization Grants.

WHO WE ARE

The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) had obtained a financial assistance from the World Bank to support the implementation of YESSO. The support operation was designed in close partnership between the FGN and 20 States in Nigeria, however, only the following 8 states were eligible for participating in the first phase: Bauchi, Cross River, Ekiti, Kogi, Kwara, Niger, Osun, and Oyo. At inception, the YESSO Unit in the Federal Ministry of Finance (FMF) was the coordinating unit for YESSO, with other participating Federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) such as the MDG office, NDE, and NPC playing important roles in the FOCU.
